I remember enjoying the arrival of Fall and the changing colors of the leaves since I was a very young lad. I can still smell the wet leaves in my front yard in Hamilton, NY. Back then, a 2 hour drive north to the Adirondacks was the gold standard for Fall foliage viewing. Here in España, I recently joined my friend Luis on a visit to the Parque Nacional de Ordesa y Monte Perdido and experienced some amazing views and spectacular colors and even a glimpse of France! There wasn't much sun so I had to be creative so I took advantage of the clouds and colors to compose some really nice images. On the way back down the mountain to town, the temperature dropped to exactly freezing and we had a brief 10 minutes snow shower. At this altitude, the weather is extremely unpredictable.
Predictably, however, I just added several of these new images to the landscapes gallery on my website so have a look: maxdobens.com
